Our Championship teams and award winning athletes were honored by the Board of Education, Superintendent Dr. Rhonda Combs, and Athletic Director Dan Wilson. Every sport was represented. It was a fantastic night honoring our student athletes.
Braxton County Athletics raise $464 for an injured Clay County player.

Clay County All-State football player Jacob Morton was in a serious car accident. The fans of the Senior Night game generously gave to support this student athlete.
After 50 years of coaching, Braxton County's legendary wrestling coach gets inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. Our great coach has built one of West Virginias top wrestling programs.
Matthias Garavaglia wins Boys Soccer LKC Player of the Year.

The Boys Soccer team is well represented on the All LKC Team. Seniors, Matthias Garavaglia and Addison Grindo make 1st team, and Richard Westfall, Owen McAllister, and Nick Brown make 2nd team All LKC.
The Lady Eagles, led by LKC Player of the year Bre Smarr win the LKC Conference title. Head Coach Nathan Smarr wins LKC Coach of the Year. 1st Team All LKC: Bre Smarr, Erica Nicholson, and Heidi King. 2nd Team All LKC: Baily Pritt, Erica Hart, and Ava Gerwig. Congratulations on a great season Lady Eagles.
